Educational Innovation Consultant
OECD, UNESCO, UNICEF, Fondació Bofill
As a natural continuation of my work at OECD, I worked as an independent consultant on educational innovation. I collaborated with international organisations and other key actors in de educational sphere, such as OECD, UNESCO, UNICEF and the Bofill Foundation in Catalunya. I continued doing project coordination, developed educational tools for teacher evaluation in innovative environments, translate and edit educational experts work, among other tasks.

Public Policy Analyst

I started as an internal consultant and evolved into public policy analyst at A1 level. All five years I stayed at OECD I worked at Innovative Learning Environments project, led by Senior Analyst David Istance. The project aimed to analyze how young people learn and what are the dynamics and environment that allow them to learn more effectively. 25 countries participated in this project submitting examples of schools and other learning organizations that used innovative strategies in order to enhance learning. As project coordinator, my role consisted in organizing and managing the work of 25 participating countries, giving follow-up to their contributions, analyzing content and contributing to the project’s aims, structure and goals. I contributed to the design and development of analytic tools and helped with our books editing and critic reading. I also collaborated in the design of several international meetings. This position helped me further develop important skills such as critical thinking, diplomacy and heavy work load organization.

Spanish Teaching Assistant

As a teaching assistant my role was to develop activities in order to help students enhance their oral skills in Spanish. I worked with groups of 10 to 20 students in two different sites at middle and high school level. This was my firsr year in France and it helped me prepare for University's admission and start my Master's the following school year.

Librarian

The University’s Guadalajara campus was opening in September 2005. I was hired months ahead to get the library ready for its opening and to manage it once the institution welcomed students. For this post I received training on book code system and library administration. I was in charge of planning a catalog, buying the books and administrate the library once opened. In addition to my mandatory work, I organized cultural activities such a movie club and a photograph exhibit, with the aim of attracting students and creating a cultural place in campus.
