My role is to understand a current network and build a capacity model which would suit customer Next Generation WAN (NG-WAN) requirements. Being a stake-holder at a one of the biggest and unique customer network transformation. Alcatel-Lucent the telecommunication company Primary areas of responsibility are the definition and negotiation with the customer, of the global standards and strategies to be applied to the environment and managing the transformation to these standards across all 3 regions. Key Achievements • Understand a current network and CMO (current model of operation) and develop FMO (future model of operation) from WAN capacity perspective, WAN sizing, quality, management and demands. All activities needs to be standardized and suitable for all regions EMEA, AMS, APJ. • Develop and implement carrier consolidation and WAN cost reduction strategies as a cornerstone of the overall co-sourcing framework while placing WAN as an ‘enabler’ of the wider transformation objectives • Define and plan the migration phases to a globally centralized security solution. Propose and deliver the WAN connectivity being capable of handling NG-WAN with all the ongoing dependencies (e-Business server hosting, Web Proxy, 3rd Party Connectivity, CMO data-center consolidations, decommission of legacy infrastructure. All to be done withing a given time-frame and urgency. • Lead both global and regional projects related to CMO and NG-WAN teams to ensure consistent execution of standards across regions in a time critical environment. • Deliver and report to Alcatel-Lucent network representatives on a direct customer level.

Customer facing role ( KONE Corporation ) Direct communication to customer representatives at WAN level. Handling and coordinating operation issues, incidents, changes and problems related to WAN. Regular Vendor management related to Quality, Capacity and SLA's Crediting and quality measurement toward WAN providers. Escalations and Lead on highly sensitive sites. Traffic flow investigations, segregation, capacity study and optimizations. Provide customer care and quality reports toward customer.

Build a new team from scratch (10+) being in charge of implementation of sites located in France, Belgium and Luxembourg (hiring included). Site deployment manager is managing WAN connectivity of site. From hardware delivery to WAN delivery and tracking, to activation and billing trigger. Training and education of new team members, building a knowledge base (country related). Tracking of delivery, success and reports back to management. Coordination internal related processes and team. Taking care of escalations and highly sensitive customers. Working on a development, on team and personal level. Focus on efficiency and productivity measurements. Assessment of team effectiveness and workload.

Coaching of new hires and existing team members. Being a part of delivery of new WAN services. Participation in hiring new team members Developing and improvements of processes, tools to delivery the service the most efficient way. Reporting to management team.

Project management. Starting position in a "disconnect team", being in change of discontinuing customer WAN connectivity, removing hardware and streamlining of all data sets related to customer.
