About

As an emerging Interior Architecture & Design graduate with a First class Award in BA (Hons) in Heriot-Watt University based in Scotland, I'm passionate about creating functional spaces that serve both emotional and practical needs. My design philosophy is rooted in empathy, social awareness and a deep respect for cultural and human experiences. My academic journey at Heriot-Watt University has equipped me with skills to design for diverse communities and complex needs. My final year project, The Safe Haven Project is based on creating long-term shelter for Palestinians. where I transformed Traquair House in the Scottish Borders into a long-term sanctuary complete with a mosque, restaurant, residential A-frame cabins and a healthcare facility. In addition, I've worked on inclusive projects such as Redesigning Deaf Action (based in Edinburgh) where I created a sensory conscious event space with a library, social lounge and well-being areas specifically for deaf users. I've also designed a dementia care-home that integrates therapeutic environments including a conservatory, equine therapy stable and accessible living spaces. My team also won the redesign competition for The Royal Scots Club in Edinburgh, where we transformed the outdoor terrace into a members only bar that honors tradition while offering commercial uplift. I am now seeking to join a forward thinking design firm in Dubai where I can continue creating residential and community-focused spaces that foster connection, dignity and human spaces.

I would help host art events in venues such as The Address Hotel and Kite Beach etc, where I would prep sketches on canvases for clients to paint on. The process for me was to drive the work car collect all the equipment from the office, take it to the venue then step up everything for the clients while I wait for their arrival. When clients are painting, I assist and guide them with their artworks.

From a book I was given to read called 'Modern Art: Art Essentials Series' where I enhanced my knowledge on the history of Art, which helps when presenting an idea to a client to have all the background information on the piece you're selling.
