Epidemiology Intern within the STI/HIV Division - survey distribution, data input, and statistical analysis

PolyCultural Weekend is a 3-day, 2-night orientation event for high school seniors and transfer students who have been conditionally accepted to Cal Poly where they get acclimated to the campus climate and are introduced to the cultural community. - Planned and organized largest cultural orientation program held on campus, that hosted 300 conditionally admitted students, for three days and two nights, who identified as a minority and underrepresented in university student body - Delegated $40,000 budget, program scheduling, supported staff interviews and selection, and managed volunteer composed of approximately 600 individuals - Organized parent program during weekend about the importance and challenges faced as an underrepresented student - With conclusion of program, 80% of students who attended the orientation program accepted their admittance to the university
