Performed cutting-edge research by designing and running experiments exploring the effects of epigenetic manipulations on behavioral and molecular aspects of learning and memory. Increased lab productivity by performing a variety of experiments and techniques across a wide range of projects. Improved overall lab organization, cleanliness and safety by managing a schedule and creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for undergraduate researchers.

Aided in experiments exploring the epigenetics of learning and memory by performing surgeries in mice, brain collections, dissections, and behavioral procedures such as Object Location Memory. Performed daily animal care such as weaning and toe-clipping, which resulted in an organized and healthy colony. Genotyping from animal tissue, keeping an updated log of housed animals for experiment availability.

Designed and ran experiments for the production of antibodies created through machine learning. Determined the most efficient procedures for protein synthesis and purification. Established the quality of standard operating procedures and adjusted them for best clarity.
