Assuring Tax and Transfer Pricing compliance in the LatAm Region (Panama, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador and Mexico), coordinating the Tax Obligations. • Supervision and coordination of Tax & TP related compliance processes and support of the optimization and digitization of tax related processes • Support each LatAm affiliate with tax advisory in the areas of corporate income tax, international taxes and transfer pricing matters. Identify potential risks and/or opportunities for the affiliate and the impact for the Group. • Monitoring legislative changes in Tax & TP in the Latam region which have a material impact on the business. • Project management of international tax projects including further development of corresponding Tax &TP systems and tools • Monitoring and evaluating the tax consequences of business restructurings, organizational changes and other non routine transactions • Coordinate the Treasury Information Platform (TIP) for the LatAm entities.

Responsible of managing the Transfer Pricing strategy for LatAm, considering and controlling the impact in each affiliate of the region. Checking that the arm´s lenght principle is meet in all the affiliates and the compliance with each country specifications in relation to the Income Tax Law. Supervising and supporting each local team to comply with the local obbligations on time. Participate in different projects as part of the finance, treasury and tax functions for the region, evaluating the impact of the project and of each particular scenario for each country of the region. As part of the Treasury Function I am in charge of supervising the correct and on time reporting of the monthly cashflow of each of the LatAm subsidiary into the Global platform.

Continued the development of the line of services introducing new approaches to the transfer pricing practice. Identified the client's needs and established a long term relationship as their advisers. Responsible of the client's portfolio management in order to achieve the Firm's budget.

Developed the transfer pricing line of services in Panama after the Law was approved. As the team leader I am in charge of recruiting and preparing my team so the practice is up to date while fulfilling the Client's needs. I am also responsible of the Client's portfolio management in order to achieve the Firm's budget year on year.

Responsible for the development of the Transfer Pricing studies and the staff´s supervision. • Adapted the use of statistical tools to extend the analysis of the economics results, within the current legal framework, that under a first analysis can be interpreted not complying with the arm´s length principle. • Attended fiscal reviews of formal duties from the Venezuelan tax Authority (SENIAT). Featuring 100% of the reviews on time.
