Technical Service and Manufacturing Science Process optimization Stage

* Internship at R&D section. * Nonwovens production and development Industry * I worked in the R&D division cooperating with the Production and the Quality Control divisions. * I mainly focused on: * Improvement of actual products * Creation of potentially new products for hygiene and other sectors * Cooperation with other units, such as Marketing and Technical office.

* Thesis on Natural Flavours encapsulation with innovative biopolymers * Apprenticeship for Master thesis project – Research Laboratory * The activity was held in the Chemical-Pharmaceutical Laboratory of Biolab, in a multidisciplinary context. * The work included the use of vanguard analytical techniques and collaboration with a team of specialists from different fields. * My main goal was the preparation and the evaluation of micro-nanostructured supports for encapsulation and controlled release of active compounds.

* Thesis : Benchmarking on raw materials for glassware * Apprenticeship for Bachelor thesis project – Glass production plant * The activity was held in the Quality Control Laboratory, interacting with various sectors of the glass industry. Main activities assigned to me were: * Assessment of potential new suppliers for raw materials * Reassessment of suppliers through visits to the factories * Writing of analysis Procedures Quality Laboratory * Quality evaluation of raw materials and finished products.
