Nature photography

Responsible for the artistic environment of the church, indoors and out. This includes seasonal decoration as well as everyday floral and fine art decor and Feast Day decoration. It also includes consultation on colors and materials used in refreshing the buildings. This position came with a seat on the Worship Commission of the church. Other positions held at Our Lady of Mercy include Worship Commission and the adult faith formation team (FMT).

Retail

Created floral arrangements in designer containers for the holiday season and Christmas.

Supplied self-help materials to farmers and homeowners. Fielded questions regarding different aspects of farming. Assisted in research in the field. Contributed to the monthly publication. Acted as judge in the floriculture exhibits of the Orange County Fair.

Studies included floriculture, plant materials, pomology, vegetable crops, flower judging, landscaping, natural resources, traditional courses in the arts and sciences, and languages.
