• Develop, drive, and delivery of KPI’s/KPO’s for business unit; identify needs and ensure continuous improvement through the use of Lean Manufacturing tools. • Lead the Manufacturing team to reach company's KPIs target according to company's safety, quality, Delivery, Cost performance and Moral (SQDCM). • Encourage by technical knowledge to solve problems by root cause analysis and understanding of failure by mechanisms. • Manage the allocation of engineering resources, (people, equipment and technology) to optimize efficiency and meet with company results.

• Responsible for the correct operation and adjustments of kilns and dryers, focused on quality (no defect condition) and integrity of the equipment on each stage of ceramic process. • Reduction of variability on the different processes according to KPO’s definition: reduction of defects, improvement of yield, optimization of gas consumption (stoichiometric ratio – gas/air), increase of productivity. • Data analysis and use of statistical tools to make decisions about adjustments or changes that impact the performance of the area. • Lead the Process and Equipment Failure mode and effect analysis (PFMEA and EFMEA) of Dryers, Tunnel and shuttle kilns; to identify risks and define the necessary controls to mitigate them (implementation of control plan). • Management implementation for critical spare parts of Kilns and Dryers – develop of technical information to purchase team. • Responsible to solve technical issues through contact directly the suppliers of the different equipment: Keramischer Ofenbau (Germany), Swindell Dressler (USA), CDS (UK), Unimak (Turkey). • Develop of saving projects, focused on utilities improvement (gas and electricity consumption mainly)

• Administration and control of activities during the release phase of the product for production, and evaluation of devices during the continuous production. • Definition of technical information for manufacture of the company´s products according request of the clients. • Responsible for the pilot tests for the launching of new products, establishing the manufacturing parameters and specifications for manufacturing. • Follow up at Nonconformance with SQE´s for a technical solutions and implementations to improve ppm’s • Execution of engineering tests that improve the current manufacturing process, investigating related technology, with the purpose of reducing production operating costs. • Responsible to solve technical issues through contact directly the supplier Rotoline (Brasil) of the Kilns
