Responsible for the successful development and implementation of new products (automotive, commercial and digital P&R), leading a team of 20 Project Managers

• Administration of the 4 wall áreas within the Plant. • Manage of $660M usd Plant annual revenue with a building size of 320,000 sq ft and 140,000 sq ft of shop floor area. • Administration of P&L, driving accomplishments in critical metrics to meet the expected Manufacturing cost.

• Responsible to set the strategy to manage all launch programs for the top automotive customers, following the APQP/VPDS process. • Responsible to drive manufacturing operational excellence, setting the strategy to implement new technologies, achieve flawless launches meeting process capacity to achieve BTS, Customer quality and releases demand. • Provide direction, continued leadership and set priorities to my staff. • Responsible for F&T MQ confirmation for all the potential business Programs in the manufacturing site. • Support the achievement of the Plant financial objectives, controlling the assigned budget for launch and capital spending.

• Responsible for the Launch of 30 major programs for different customers like Ford, Lincoln, Mazda, Honda, Accura, Nissan, etc, following the APQP/VPDS process. • Responsible for F&T MQ cost estimation for all the potential business Programs. • Main activities included:  Provide adequate follow up and management support to meet the Plant objectives  Fulfill and ensure that all APQP/VPDS process requirements and procedures set out were followed.  Mentoring of all the Engineering community about the measurables that conformed the VPDS launch process.  Promote a continuous and direct collaboration work within the different teams among the Plant and externally with the corporate teams and the different customers.  Attend and support the CFT meetings held between the different functional areas internal and external to the plant.  Support the achievement of the Plant financial objectives, controlling the assigned budget for launch and capital spending for each of the programs in launch.  Assure the personnel under my responsibility had the adequate level of knowledge to execute the day to day tasks.  Assure the measurables of the area under my responsibility were communicated in time and form to the top management.  Direct support and coordination of customer visits, reviews and audits for new programs or potential businesses.

• Project Leader for development and launch of new programs guided through the APQP/VPDS process. • F&T MQ cost estimator for Driver Information Products. • Benchmark and global standardization among the Visteon Plants. • Plant leader for implementation of new technology equipment. • Main activities during launch included:  Coordinate study of Manufacturing assumptions. Data related with manufacturing technology, floor space, manpower, labor cost, capacity availability, etc.  Kick off of quotation team process.  Development of design & specification of equipment.  Manufacturing process design.  Control of spending for F & T/ launch account.  Project timing development. Identifying the customer needs and the key project requirements according with the phase of the program.  Coordinate/conduct each one of the product builds according with the milestone of the program.  Create/document/control the electronic evidence book for each one of the measurables according with the phase of the program.  PPAP process.  Launch readiness.

• Ensure the existence of a validated manufacturing process, ensuring the products were built out according with the established Engineering specification. • Supervise Engineering and Production Engineers to assure the performance results were based in following Engineering and production systems designed. Training of Engineering and Production Engineers in order to help them out to know and understand the different Engineering and quality tools to assure a total control of the overall manufacturing process. • Motivate the personnel under my responsibility to develop and implement new ideas that could be applied to the overall manufacturing process. • Provide direct customer service support. Ensuring the Application of containment and corrective actions as needed to comply with customer's requirements of quality and production delivery. • Identify systemic issues that may affect quality or product delivery, looking for improvement ideas in the short and long term. • Participate in production scheduling in order to assure the manufacturing plan accomplishment. • Manage the area personnel and ensure conduct, discipline order and safety were maintained at all times.

• Ensure the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for the different instrument clusters, based on Engineering specification. • Provide customer service support on the programs under my responsibility. • Provide engineering support on the most critical cluster programs for the Plant. • Provide supplier quality follow up, ensuring containment, corrective and preventive actions were in place. • Manage the process for engineering changes implementation. • Manage of customer warranty and first time through measurable. • Manage of EBOM structure. • Ensure test coverage for test equipment and poka-yokes implementation.

• Manage the production schedule in order to accomplish with the manufacturing plan, being direct responsible for daily achievement of measurable like BTS, quality, FTT, DTD, etc. • Training of production personnel. • Supervise over 120 persons, between operators, technicians and team leaders. • Manage the Visteon production system implementation.

• Development and implementation of manufacturing processes for the different program harnesses. • Manage the plant leadership for the VE/VA project analysis. • Responsible for weekly plant labor manning calculation, according with the manufacturing plan. • Responsible for plant lay-out. • Responsible for drawings interpretation/visual aids-cutting sheets generator. • Responsible for operators and technicians training in topics related with continuous improvement. • Responsible for searching of new equipment technology for the different manufacturing processes.

• Development and implementation of the manufacturing process for the different products. • Design and modification of work stations. • Design and implementation of fixtures throughout the different lines and processes. • Design of quality process sheets. • Transfer of manufacturing lines between Zenith plants.

• Responsible for supervising 110 persons directly, as well of daily achievement of quality and production measurables. • Responsible for production schedule, based on the 10 weeks report.
