Marco Gidai

As an intern in 2020, I had the opportunity to analyze manufacturing processes and evaluate opportunities for improvement. I gained hands-on experience working with various manufacturing processes such as turning, milling, laser, brushing, lapping, and packing. In addition, I participated in the assembly of BC, CP, and CM valves, and created working papers and processed assignments related to NCR settlement on the shop floor. This experience allowed me to develop valuable skills such as problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication, while gaining practical knowledge of process improvement methodologies. I am excited to apply these skills and knowledge to future roles in the field of manufacturing and look forward to new challenges and opportunities for growth.

I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in high school, with a focus on History, Business Management, and English Language and Literature at the higher level. Additionally, I studied Physics, French, and Mathematics at the standard level. This rigorous academic program challenged me to think critically and develop strong analytical skills, while providing a well-rounded education that prepared me for success in my future academic and professional endeavors.

I completed a rigorous summer course on Global Leadership at the Oxford Royale Academy. This program offered a unique opportunity to develop my leadership skills through a range of interactive exercises, case studies, and lectures by distinguished leaders from various fields. I gained a deep understanding of the key principles of effective leadership, including communication, collaboration, strategic thinking, and decision-making. Through team projects and individual assignments, I developed my ability to work effectively in diverse groups and adapt my leadership style to different situations. The program also offered me the chance to network with other ambitious young leaders from around the world, allowing me to gain new insights and perspectives on global issues. Overall, this experience was transformative in helping me to become a more effective and dynamic leader, and I am confident that the skills I acquired will serve me well in my future endeavours.
