Recruited by SVP & GM of Connected Devices to build a Global Enterprise Body Worn Camera product line from 0->1 for Retail, Healthcare, Logistics, & other non-Law Enforcement verticals. Operating as an intrapreneurial "start-up CEO", defined market and product requirements, securing organizational buy-in on the product plan, while the organization was focused on the launches of Axon's flagship Law Enforcement products (Axon Body 4 and TASER 10). Delivered immediate impact, identifying & partnering with Mechanical Engineering and 3D production house to develop multiple functional prototype designs for <$10K within the first 90 days, empowering the Enterprise Markets GM and sales teams with tools to engage F500 Retail, Healthcare & Logistics customers. Multiple iterations of prototype designs in 2nd quarter refined a scalable design for trials. As a Scrappy startup, I personally ran a 3D printer from my home office, hand-assembling the first 250 units on my Kitchen Island, enabling the first F500 enterprise field trial by the 3rd 90 days, and scaled F500 field trials across multiple customers in quarter 4. Partnered with VP Industrial Design to refine a design language that balanced approachable/friendly, enterprise brand alignment & safety while staying on brand for Axon.
