• Independent definition and development of the procurement strategy for the pur-chase of essential input materials, trade goods and SBAs across the company • Processing of the procurement market as well as search and selection of suitable suppliers in the course of the purchasing strategy • Enquiry and quotation processing, con-ducting commercial negotiations, prepar-ing quotation comparisons and awarding contracts • Supplier development: carrying out sup-plier evaluations and supplier audits • Risk assessment of suppliers and market conditions • Identifying potential for improvement in all processes and procedures and their con-sistent implementation, digitalisation and automation • Participation in make or buy decisions and due diligence of potential takeover candidates • Main responsibility for escalations, com-plaints and backlogs • Maintaining the supplier relationship and master data • Knowledge and analysis of supplier and customer markets (new production pro-cesses, innovations, supplier clusters), structure and process organisation of the supplier base • Controlling and reporting of purchasing key figures

NEW PRODUCTS Pre-project product development · Responsibility for creating first product prototypes with selected development partner. · Developing a profound decision-making basis for the potential new product in cooperation with other departments within the company. Product development · Defining the right OEM production partner for the new product in cooperation with the Bene procurement OEM department. · Ensuring to meet critical product success factors (costs, quality & timelines) during product development phases at the OEM partner. · Monitoring the transition into series production of the new product. PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT · Accompany the implementation of new product variants at OEM partners, based on market needs. · Perform a measures and activities plan for prioritizing and tracking tasks to enhance cost structures, quality levels and delivery reliability of Bene OEM products. CUSTOMIZED CLIENT PRODUCTS · On-site support for Bene at OEM partners and their suppliers for custom made products in projects: - Supervising development of customized solutions - Approval of samples and series production - Communication to Bene customizing department, sales and sales support GENERAL TASKS · Technical contact person for OEM products within Bene for different departments like, Customized Solutions, Logistics, Engineering, Procurement OEM, Sales Support, Technical Support & Quality Management. · Finding and developing new sub-suppliers for OEM partners and potential new OEM partners. · Screening of new production methods & technologies for Bene OEM products. · Lead in shifting Bene products between OEM production partners. Main regions: Poland, Germany and China.
