I am responsible for the configuration, deployment, and administration of various platforms, including APM (Elastic), SSL and mPKI (GlobalSign), DDI – DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (Infoblox), among others. In addition to these responsibilities, I continue to perform my duties as a Cloud Computing Specialist & Administrator, leveraging my expertise to ensure the efficient operation and optimization of these critical systems.

My role as a Cloud Computing Specialist was to lead all governance related to the use of Public Clouds within the company, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Among my responsibilities were defining standards and processes for provisioning, configuration, operation, and management of resources in Public Clouds. I was also responsible for defining topologies, integrations between systems and environments, and the adoption of new technologies, overseeing the certification of new resources and/or components to be used in technical solution architectures.

Responsible for overseeing various bank initiatives involving the use of Private, Public, and/or Hybrid Clouds. I acted as a facilitating agent, enabling Cloud Adoption initiatives by aligning them across multiple bank areas, such as Information Security, Legal, Telecom, the Cloud Community (Squad), etc. Also among my responsibilities were the support, provisioning, and configuration of Public Cloud infrastructure for initiatives of the Data Engineering Directorate (DED). Among them, the Data Battle, an initiative with international reach (Latam) and winner of the WMS Award in the Innovation category in 2018.

I joined Itaú Unibanco in January 2017, a leading Brazilian bank with a global presence across 18 countries and a workforce of nearly 100,000 employees. In my role as a Senior Data Strategy Analyst, I was responsible for driving and managing initiatives that empower business units to achieve their strategic objectives. My responsibilities included planning strategies for the coexistence, migration, and adoption of legacy and new platforms, conducting benchmarking, facilitating Data Lake utilization, promoting the adoption of advanced analytics techniques, and supporting cloud integration. These initiatives were executed in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Architecture, Engineering, Data Governance, Data Security, and various business units, ensuring alignment and seamless execution across the organization.

In May 2015, I was invited by Telefônica VIVO to relocate to São Paulo on a permanent basis to contribute to the formation of their newly established Big Data team. The initiative required professionals with a strong interest in the field and proven expertise in areas such as data ingestion, migration, preparation, and integration. My prior experience in Business Intelligence (BI), particularly in these technical domains, along with the soft skills I demonstrated while collaborating directly with the São Paulo BI team, were instrumental in securing this opportunity. In my capacity as a Big Data Engineer, I specialized in working with NoSQL databases and distributed platforms, including Hadoop, to deliver scalable and innovative data solutions.

Following Telefônica VIVO's acquisition of Telemig Celular in 2008, I transitioned into the organization and initially maintained similar responsibilities for several months. As the integration progressed, a series of strategic initiatives were launched in alignment with the new management’s direction, including rebranding efforts, IT process evaluations, and system migrations. Many of these projects directly impacted my role, as I was accountable for the development of websites and intranet applications. This responsibility required close collaboration with Telefônica’s São Paulo IT team to plan and execute the necessary changes resulting from the acquisition, ensuring seamless integration of internal systems. Once the migration phase was completed, I transitioned into a role within the Business Intelligence (BI) team, which was based in Belo Horizonte and reported directly to the São Paulo leadership. In this capacity, I contributed to the development and implementation of data-driven solutions, further supporting the company’s strategic objectives.

As a Software Development Coordinator and Architect, I led the design and development of the company’s websites and intranet applications. I managed a portfolio of six web-based applications, all built using ASP.NET and C#. In this role, I collaborated closely with the Marketing Department, gaining valuable experience in delivering tailored services and applications to meet the needs of both end users and internal employees. This position allowed me to bridge technical expertise with business objectives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centric solutions.

For a short period, I was employed at Sysmap Tecnologia, a consulting firm under contract with Telemig Celular. Following the termination of the agreement between Telemig Celular and my previous employer, I was recommended by the client as a skilled and dedicated professional. This endorsement led to my transition, within a few months, to a direct role at Telemig Celular, where I continued to contribute to their operations.

During the time I worked for Squadra Tecnologia, I held multiple roles, including Software Developer, Lead Software Developer, Software Development Coordinator, and Project Manager Assistant, primarily focused on web-based applications for both intranet and internet platforms. As Squadra Tecnologia operates as a software factory and consulting firm, I contributed to numerous high-profile projects for major clients, most notably Telemig Celular, which was the largest and most profitable telecommunications company in Minas Gerais at the time. This experience allowed me to develop a diverse skill set and deliver impactful solutions across a range of complex projects.

As a member of the Database Administration Team for PEQ-MG (Plano Estadual de Qualificação Profissional de Minas Gerais), I contributed to the implementation and management of the Minas Gerais State Plan for Professional Qualification. In this role, I supported the administration and optimization of database systems critical to the program’s success, ensuring efficient data management and alignment with the initiative’s objectives to enhance professional development across the state.
