R&D on performance evaluation of distributed/cloud systems for EVs. Develop IoT/Stochastic/ML models for battery state estimation (SoC/SoH) and lifetime prediction in electric motorcycles. Build data ingestion from on-board devices, cloud pipelines, and dashboards.

PhD research focused on machine learning models for battery state prediction and estimation. Investigating the use of large language models (LLMs) for code generation and automation in modeling workflows, expanding on previous experience with stochastic modeling and simulator development.

Master’s dissertation on stochastic modeling of battery State of Health (SoH) using Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD), Stochastic Petri Nets (SPNs), and machine learning models. Contributed to the Mercury simulator development team (Java) for system dependability analysis and developed a custom SPN simulator (C++) extending Mercury’s functionalities.

Coordinated research projects on thermoelectric cooling systems and mentored undergraduate engineering students.

Undergraduate research project focused on thermoelectric energy transfer and control: • Designed energy transfer models using Matlab/Simulink • Performed analog circuit analysis with Proteus/LTSpice • Designed and tested DC-DC converters • Implemented temperature control strategies, including PID controllers

Worked on mechanical design projects for the food industry (clients: Vitarella, Bimbo): • Produced CAD models and technical drawings in SolidWorks • Supported mechanical simulations and system design for production equipment • Collaborated with manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and compliance with industry standards
