An outgoing and energetic BSc (Hons) Computer Science with AI graduate of the University of Nottingham looking for an environment to learn, expand and contribute my skill sets. Thrives in an environment that works together but am willing to develop individually on the areas that I’m lacking. University of Nottingham | Nottingham, UK September 2018 – June 2022 BSc Hons Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence Grade: Second-Class, Division Two Key Modules: Machine Learning, Designing Intelligent Agents, Artificial Intelligence Methods, and Fundamentals of Information Visualisation. Dissertation: ‘Machine learning based system for managing energy efficiency via smart lighting in homes.’ Software Engineering Group Project Worked as a group to develop an application that would automatise the daily tasks of The University of Nottingham’s Career Advisory Services (CAS) that used a web-scrapper bot to look for job vacancies and compile them into a list view that are separated by filters to allow for CAS to properly send them to graduates. Individual Dissertation Worked on a smart lighting application with a supervisor that would learn the habits of the homeowner to decrease energy consumption. Machine Learning Worked as a group to develop machine learning simulations using different algorithms by using techniques such as data normalisation and training sets. Designing Intelligent Agents Worked on a chatbot that would recommend music to a user through conversation and outputted recommendations through internet corpuses. Programming and Coding Familiarity. - Experience in Python, Java, C+, HTML/CSS, SQL, Haskell, and Matlab. - Experience with using Git, GitHub, and Excel. - Experience with using R programming to visualise datasets. Communication Skills - Able to work well in a group by delegating tasks and performing duties. - Eager to get along with colleagues and being part of the team. - Experience in the retail industry allows me to get along well even with strangers. - Extremely outgoing and friendly. - Always chosen to be the main speaker of a group because of my confidence in speaking in front of crowds. - Participated and won a silver medal for Kangaroo Maths Competition in Malaysia. - Participated in various Maths and Science Olympiad Competitions in High School in Malaysia. - School Team in Volleyball and Football in Malaysia. - Futsal University Team in UoN Malaysia.
