Developing and delivering the People Strategy to fully align the people agenda with the business objectives. Accountable for the consistent application of HR policies, procedures and practices, in order to minimize risk and financial exposure. Partnering with HR centers of expertise to coordinate project and policy implementation and the enhancement of centralised services to the business. Promoting organisational development that addresses succession planning, workforce engagement and development, change management and continuous improvement towards a high performance culture. Leading and engaging HR working groups involved in the development and promotion of HR policy and procedures, operational efficiency, cost saving studies and service improvement initiatives.

Building and establishing effective relationships with business directors and managers to influence HR strategy and operational involvement. Driving the people agenda within seven autonomous business areas covering an employee population circa 1,000, challenging strategic objectives and coaching senior directors. Working closely with the business to improve the profile and understanding of the HR function, and increase trust and confidence in the department. Partnering with recruitment and learning and development teams and managing a regional team of HR support staff to deliver a proactive HR service in a multi-discipline and multi-cultural environment. Championing regional reward; leading cyclical processes, policy review and implementation.
