My professional journey is dedicated to enhancing the lives of underserved communities through the field of Optometry. Holding a degree and a Master's in Optometry from Portugal, I have had the privilege of serving as a lecturer at Universidade Lúrio in Nampula, Mozambique. This experience highlighted the critical need for accessible eye care services in the region. I expanded my impact through project management with the Brien Holden Vision Institute, collaborating with various organizations to develop a comprehensive network of optical stores. This network spans high-end, middle-tier, and low-cost stores, ensuring that quality eye care is within reach for all. Additionally, I founded a distribution company for optical goods and services, further bridging the gap in accessibility. My experiences have deepened my conviction in the power of collaboration and dedication to drive meaningful change. I am passionate about leveraging my skills and expertise in Optometry to continue making a positive impact on underserved communities.
