Mansi Khandelwal is a 3rd generation sleep care entrepreneur who is on a mission to reclaim quality sleep as a birth right. With over 40 years of established commercial success in India, the award-winning ‘Charu Group of Companies’ was established by Mansi’s grandmother who positioned the business as a pioneering manufacturer and exporter of luxury quilts and digitally-printed fabrics. The business has participated at global trade exhibitions and successfully secured contracts to supply to large home store retailers across the US and UK. By 2018, ‘Charu’ combined in-depth research with design and their innate understanding of the business landscape to introduce weighted blankets to the Indian market. Growing up, Mansi was deeply inspired by her grandmother’s ability to create the most comfortable, cozy, natural blankets that changed the way people slept. As a busy, working mother herself, Mansi understood that the only way to keep up was through a good restful night’s sleep. With many close friends and family around her struggling with sleep issues, anxiety and depression she began her quest to find a solution!
