* Master’s Thesis: * Research Topic: Adsorption of Metals in Flu-gas Desulfurization Wastewater by Using Iron Incorporated Activated Carbon * The FGD water is tested using Iron impregnated Activated Carbon by running batch tests. * ICP-MS (Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry) is used to analyze the samples from the batch test for detecting the concentrations of heavy metal ions. * Sorption isotherms are then drawn for the results obtained from the ICP-MS. * The results proved to be promising to remove certain amounts of the metal ions required in the most economical way possible.
