Responsible for Group Finance, Accounts & IT Operations, Risk Management and Structuring / Financing of Growth initiatives. All the CFOs of the group companies report into me. Member of the highest level of Group wide decision making committees for strategic matters as well as projects / key purchases

Right from conceiving the first overseas venture for the Polyplex Group, evaluation of various options of locating the project in the SE Asian region, I was involved at every stage of setting up the company, implementation of project, taking care of the entire project funding needs and once operations commenced in the role of CFO oversaw the entire Finance, Accounts, Commercial and allied areas. Was instrumental in taking the company public with a IPO on the Thai SET in 2004 and also the subsequent investments made by the Group in Turkey, Singapore, China and the US. Was inducted as an director in the company since inception and also on other group companies in Singapore.

Responsible for arranging project finance for all the growth initiatives of the company besides looking at inorganic growth opportunities. For the latter 3-4 years in this position, effectively worked as Executive Assistant to Chairman and the CEO of the company and was involved in all key matters relating to Growth, Strategy, Project evaluation besides the project finance role.

Worked in the Textiles vertical handling several key accounts for about 18 months and thereafter moved to Rehabilitation Finance Department looking after revival plans for sick companies under BIFR. Was exposed to the basics of Project finance as well as developed a understanding of several industries in the process of preparing turnaround plans
