As a GLG Network Member, I bring more than 30 years’ of Techno-commercial experience at various execution to leadership role level within and outside India in the Oil & Gas downstream sector and can guide / help clients solve some of their toughest business challenges / decisions especially in City Gas Distribution field.

Responsible for all CGD deliverables across Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh States of India, along with the corporate technical services function including Engineering and Planning. First LCNG station of company at Jodhpur – Rajasthan implemented from concept to commissioning completed successfully in record time of 1 year along with development of pipeline network, Domestic, Industrial & Commercial PNG connections & CNG Daughter Booster stations. First City Gate Station along with Mother Station in Tamilnadu successfully commissioned along with two CNG Daughter booster stations.

Responsible for overall business operations of Bharuch & Dahej Geographical area which includes Projects, O&M, Commercial & marketing, Materials, Accounts, HR & Administration, RoU etc. Presently handling more than 1,500 Kms. Medium & Low pressure Pipeline network, 26 CNG Stations, 110,000 plus Domestic Customers, more than 600+ Industrial customers with volume close to 1 MMSCMD & 800+ Commercial Customers and a team of 150 employees includes Engineers, CA, MBA’s and support staff.

Responsible for overall business operations of Rajkot Geographical area which includes Projects, O&M, Commercial & marketing, Materials, Accounts, HR & Administration, RoU etc. Presently handling 1,400 Kms. Medium & Low pressure Pipeline network, 26 CNG Stations, 137,000 plus Domestic Customers, 300 Industrial & 700 Commercial Customers and a team of 100 employees includes Engineers, CA, MBA’s and support staff.

To ensure smooth operations of Natural Gas supply to various segments of customers (Industrial and Transportation) is carried out in safe and effective manner with no significant unplanned downtime at all Pressure Reduction Stations, CNG Stations and the Distribution Pipelines. The company supplies gas to 40 Industries and 5 power plants in and around the city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Also, responsible for operations of one CNG Mother Station and two CNG Daughter stations as a part of City Gas Distribution network. To establish strategy for future development of CNG Stations, Pipelines for connecting Domestic, Commercial & Industrial Customers and Power plants and subsequently project implementation including Marketing plans & strategy.

One of the key member right from conceptual stage for the development of City Gas Distribution projects across the state of Gujarat. To develop Gas Transmission and Distribution plans for the cities of Gujarat State (FEED stage) and co-ordinate with consultants for Detail Engineering and managing Contracts & Procurement for downstream utilization for Domestic, Commercial, Industrial and Transportation sectors. Developed & implement pilot CNG Station and City Gas Distribution network in Hazira of Gujarat State – India, for conversion of petrol based vehicles in to CNG & PNG supply to Domestic, commercial & Industrial units around. Implemented full fledge City Gas projects in 100 cities / towns and 110 CNG stations of Gujarat state, India including potential Market development. Key technical member for planning & implementation for Master Development Plan connecting 184 cities / towns & 300 CNG station within the state of Gujarat. Headed Engineering & Planning group including Contracts & Procurement for City Gas Networks within the State of Gujarat. Held additional responsibility for City Gas Operations of Central Gujarat region covering 10 Districts of Gujarat State. Key role playing in examines prevailing gas sector regulation and policies; formulates changes necessary to comply with new regulations and assisting in obtains necessary executive approval before implementation.

Conceptual planning and FEED for Natural Gas Distribution for development of gas grid network for the city of Ahmedabad & Vadodara. Key technical member in preparation of DFR for Ahmedabad & Vadodara City Gas Project of GAEL.
