- Support team leader to develop category sourcing strategy and Implement it in all plants in China. Including developing suppliers,enhancing compliance requirements, optimizing purchasing process,rolling out cost saving initiatives etc. - Develop purchasing plans for categories,manage bidding process to control risks and optimize costs. - Full responsible for category supplier management including supplier performance measurement, business review,quality management and supplier lifecycle management. Work with QM team to continuously improve quality conformation rate. - New project management including costing, sampling, testing and implementation. Support on-time launch of new products. - Supply Management to improve International delivery to avoid material shortage. - Work with supply China to identify potential efficiency improvements opportunities and lead system development and improvement to finally improve efficiency and compliance. - Markets to closely monitor commodity market trend, work with cross-functional team to deliver innovative and sustainable packaging solutions. - Preparing and conducting Contract and Negotiations for Purchasing orders, in line with company process and procedure. - Monitoring contractual agreements/PO to initiate appropriate measures and guarantee suppliers performance on price, quality and delivery to meet project requirement. - Operating or supporting an active supplier management scheme by passing on information in order to obtain the best performance from suppliers. - Actively contributing to cooperation with all others involved and with interface partners and forwarding all relevant information in order to keep themselves and others informed and create an optimum logistics chain. - Participating in working groups to inform oneself and others about the product/supplier policy and to exert influence accordingly.
