Mandana's practice is focused on representing employers on all aspects of labor and employment law, where she has been recognized by Lawdragon, among the top leading 500 Corporate Employment Lawyers in the US. She assists clients with all aspects of wage-and-hour compliance, and has extensive experience in defending employers in class actions and other complex employment litigation, such as those brought under the FLSA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Equal Pay Act, the California Labor Code and the PAGA. Mandana also has extensive experience successfully defending employers in both state and federal court against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliations, medical leave, antidiscrimination laws, whistleblower claims and misappropriation of trade secrets. She also defends clients in litigation and audits raised by various government agencies, including the EEOC and the DOL. Her practice also includes advice and counsel, training, investigations, audits, and preparation of ESG statements related to the same. Mandana regularly partners with her clients, in providing strategic counsel on all aspects of pay equity and wage and hour claims, workplace law, ethics and corporate compliance, anti-corruptions and anti-bribery claims. She collaborates in design and implementation of metrics for tracking, assessment, and achievement of workforce objectives including pay equity, diversity and inclusion and ESG disclosures related to the same. She has assisted clients in design and implementation of diversity and inclusion programs and policies, and related civil rights audits pertaining to AI. She also regularly assists employers on regulatory compliance matters including those before state and federal agencies, and provides training on various labor and employment issues, including wage and hour and medical accommodation under the ADA, the FMLA and the FEHA. Mandana was recognized by Lawdragon among the top 500 Leading U.S. Corporate Employment Lawyers (nationwide) in 2020.
