Electrical Engineer, leading department consists of 4 engineers, 7 electrical supervisors & 55 electricians, have the following duties: Maintenance work in the shipyard, (such as yard distribution panels, overhead cranes, electrical tools…etc), operation and maintenance for a ship lift with lifting capacity 1820Tones, and operating and maintaining the main power station of the shipyard (medium voltage13.3KV & low voltage 480V) and the branches stations. Ship repair work, such as generators overhauling, motors overhauling, control systems trouble shooting….etc. Ship building work, my responsibility was as follow: Design the workshop electrical drawings, create a plan, define man-power and create WPS for each project, Order the electrical equipment (such as generators, main switchboard, motors and motor controllers, transformers, cables, lighting, fire detection system, alarm system, battery chargers .. etc) and the navigation and communication equipment, Budget control, Equipment commissioning and start up, Handling the warranty claims with suppliers, Perform quality control for the electrical system
