As a Production Manager I was responsible for the Mechanics, Cable and Integration teams. My main responsibility was in the continual improvement of my responsibility areas. My direct reports were Production Section Managers and Training Specialists.

I was responsible for two production units (Lina, Vändra) where quilts, pillows and special products were produced. The employees directly reporting to me were team leaders, planners, head of mechanics and subcontracting department. My biggest project in Wendre was closing the production activities in the Vändra unit and moving of products and equipment to the Lina and Rääma unit.

My responsibility area as a Production Manager changed over time. It extended from handling the customers’ orders to the call-off of the materials needed for production. Among other things I was responsible for the production planning, daily management and setting long term plans at the management level. The employees directly reporting to me were production unit managers, production planners and engineering manager. The biggest in this position were related to LEAN management, implementation of the ERP system and changes in the organisation structure,

I was responsible of planning the SMA lines. Team leaders of different assembly lines (SMA, THT, final assembly) were reporting to me.

I was responsible for the performance of the departement. My responsibilities included management of the dyehouse team, production planning, material call-off, product development and daily CRM.

I was responsible for the internal quality control and development work. I also had the CRM task of local Estonian customers.
