I am a Near Eastern Studies major at the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in ancient Egypt, as well as a minor in digital humanities. I strive to find the intersections between the past, museums, technology, and education. My experiences revolve around interdisciplinary research and digital skill building. This is further supported by my creative side and foundation in fine arts. I hope to further explore these connections in my academic and professional life.

I am a research assistant on the Al-Hiba project, which is working to digitize and publish archaeological records from the site. Here I have transcribed and entered data, and worked with code (python, javascript, and html). I will continue to develop programming skills, as well as draw artifacts for publication. I was also trained with Django.

I transported artifacts to and from storage, set up classes, catalogued artifact locations, photograph artifacts for the museum database.
