As VPO, I manage the Google Calendar for all upcoming events (philanthropy, recruitment, programming, DEI events), lead the House Chair and Administration Director by providing guidance, support, and clear expectations throughout the term + host biweekly check-in meetings, as well as plan and organize the Leadership Consultant's visit full itinerary, accounting for housing, meals, activities, and scheduling meetings with VPs and directors as needed.

As events coordinator my responsibilities include assisting in initiating planning, executing, and managing formal events for my sorority chapter. Consistent communication and collaboration with the events director was critical in this role and I was able to work on these skills.

As philanthropy coordinator, I collaborate with our director of philanthropy to host quarterly philanthropy events. In my role, I also coordinate and research volunteer opportunities in addition to maintaining an accurate record of total community service hours performed by our 100+ member chapter.

I am responsible for handling cash and card transactions as well as resolving customer concerns and questions. Working in a fast paced environment that serves thousands of students has meant that I have worked on always ensuring I uphold friendly, efficient customer service and maintaining my composure during rush hours.

In my position, I assist with the help of a small team in the distribution, organization, and clean up of various materials and items to 90+ graduation sites on campus. I also help support other sections of grad crew when needed.

As a hostess, I maintained composure during rush hours and adapted to unexpected restaurant situations. I actively greeted guests warmly, managed waitlists and reservations, and ensured table cleanliness.

I collaborated with a team of 10 members to design, develop, and create marketing strategies that promoted DEI initiatives in the form of events, workshops, and social media posts that were promoted across 10 Panhellenic chapters and to other organizations on campus.

As someone who worked in the restaurant industry, I quickly gained valuable skills and knowledge. I had to maintain composure during rush hours, adapt to unexpected restaurant situations, obtained accurate knowledge of the menu and allergy concerns and enjoyed giving recommendations that catered to customer preferences. I also responsibly handled financial transactions as my role entailed me to also be a cashier and I ensured an orderly flow of in house orders along side with food delivery and pick up services.
