As the Principal Global Business Development Lead for Genomics at Amazon Web Services (AWS), I have over 20 years of experience in human genomics research and bioinformatics. I lead the global strategy and execution for delivering cloud-based solutions to public sector customers in the genomics and life sciences domain, such as researchers, clinicians, patients, and policymakers. My core competencies include genomics, precision medicine, research, and healthcare, as well as business development, strategy, and partnership building. I leverage these skills to identify and address the needs and pain points of various genomics stakeholders, and to develop and promote innovative and scalable solutions, services, and programs that enable genomics discovery and innovation on AWS. My mission is to empower the genomics community to accelerate scientific breakthroughs and improve health outcomes using the power and flexibility of the cloud.
