* Leading a key department of 4000+ officials tasked with implementing Guinea’s economic and financial policies: * Achieved record macroeconomic results as Guinea was recovering from the Ebola outbreak with double digit growth each year and successfully concluded the country’s first ever Extended Credit Facility with the IMF including a USD 650 million envelop of non-concessional loans. * Successfully steered, refocused and completed negotiations for a USD1,5 billion funding to build Guinea’s biggest hydropower dam (500MW) * Strengthened negotiations processes resulting in savings of up to USD200 million on energy PPAs for thermal plants. * Led an ambitious program to develop NTICs, resulting in a 92% reduction of processing times between 2016 and 2018. * As a strategic and pragmatic leader, unlocked implementation of strategic projects in the energy sector with expected positive financial impact.

Provided impactful support to Ministers and senior officials in key energy sector institutions to deliver major power generation, transmission and distribution projects resulting in doubling power generation and increasing electricity access for 30% of the population - Provided advice to Government resulting in strengthened negotiating capability in legal, financial and technical fields for major hydropower dams and solar projects - Supported the Ebola response task force leading to its enhanced impact with the set-up of reinforced cross-border surveillance, with improved on contact-tracing and monitoring - Participated as a key member of the team tasked to draft Guinea’s Post-Ebola recovery strategy which led to a pledge tally of about USD 800 millions - Facilitated dialogue with counterparts on public finance reforms and governance in the energy sector.
