About
I am a Plant Biologist with a specialisation in sustainable cropping systems. I currently hold a scholarship of the first cohort of the Plant Health Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree. I will be graduating in September 2018 and wish to work as part of an R&D team or an educational institution with a focus on sustainable agriculture and plant health. I am now completing the Master’s thesis on 'Evaluation of new control strategies for Phytophthora diseases in pepper', in the Valencian Institute of Agricultural Research (IVIA). I was awarded a 1st Class BSc Hons Biological Sciences (Plant Science) degree from the University of Edinburgh and received the Anderson Henry prize for scoring highest in my year. I also was a Gatsby foundation scholar in 2014 and over the past four years have gained laboratory experiences in multicultural teams around Europe. I have lived, worked and studied in Greece, the UK, Spain, Germany and Sweden.
