Negotiation of Fixtures/Charter Party terms and Sale & Purchase deals, including evaluation of market trends and indexes. Securing and managing H&M and P&I insurance covers, handling of marine claims, and resolving commercial disputes. Coordinating vessel operations, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and regulations, and providing guidance to the company’s fleet on various day-to-day aspects. Strengthening partnerships with insurance brokers, chartering brokers, charterers, agents, and other commercial partners. Staying up-to-date on industry developments, implementing loss prevention measures on board vessels, ensuring operational efficiency, and safeguarding Owners’ interests.

In charge of seeking, negotiating & placing H&M and P&I insurance cover with leading International Underwriters for the company fleet (6 Container Vessels), as well as placing special insurance cover wherever required (such as SPRO, Extra WRI, K&R and LoH cover). Handling marine claims of all types, including General Average, Cargo claims, Collisions, damage to TPP, Injury/Death, Machinery breakdowns, stowaways etc. Responsible for negotiating and resolving various legal/commercial disputes with charterers, suppliers, and service providers. Negotiation and handling of several Sale & Purchase deals/contracts, including personal attendance at place of closing on behalf of the Owners. Evaluation & Approval of Charterers' requests for loading of DG cargoes or specialized (project) cargoes. Conducting analysis of Charter Party clauses to minimize risk exposure while simultaneously integrating the most advantageous clauses in new fixtures, safeguarding the Owners' interests effectively. Regular monitoring of weekly Chartering/S&P market reports and attending market outlook presentations. Maintaining well-established ongoing relations with numerous Insurance/Chartering/S&P brokers. Negotiating fixtures and handling of all chartering and post-fixing matters whenever the in-house chartering broker is out of the office. Traveling to Asia for meetings with container lines, operators and local brokers to establish new and strengthen existing business relations. Staying up-to-date on the latest industry developments, sanctions compliance, attending presentations, following claims investigation reports and preparing/sending relevant circulars to the vessels for loss prevention purposes. Occasional attendance on board of vessels as the company’s representative to conduct a general inspection and analyze safety/claims-related matters.

Responsible for fixing a fleet of 4 bulk carriers (Handysize) and 2 container vessels (Feedersize) trading worldwide, both on time charter and voyage basis. In charge of daily correspondence with the Charterers and the fleet for day-to-day operations and commercial matters. Handling of all post-fixture aspects including calculation of laytime, checking of Charter Parties and cargo documents, issuance of freight/hire and final freight invoices /freight collection, voyage results/analysis, and issuing voyage instructions to the Master etc. Monitoring daily market indices and the latest fixtures. Well established relations with Brokers & Charterers based in Europe and Asia.

In charge of all operational aspects for 6 Handy-size bulk carrier vessels, including negotiation of DA’s and appointment of agents and P&I surveyors, monitoring vessels’ speed/bunkers and fresh water consumption and ensuring figures remain within limits, controlling cargo quantities (loaded/discharged), any difference in figures, damage to cargo and in case of necessity taking appropriate actions. Checking Platts/WTI trends and obtaining bunker price indications to schedule forthcoming bunker supplies at most competitive ports Calculation of bunkers required for each voyage, negotiating with traders and placing stems for the whole fleet (12 vessels). Checking & authorizing payment of disbursements/final DA’s/bunkers invoices/P&I survey invoices

Updating and processing of data of financial nature (budget control and running expenses monitoring) Daily correspondence with clients, monitoring smooth forwarding progress and preparation of quotations & invoices Responsible for various other administrative tasks
