International and educational program that was funded by the U.S. Embassy in Helsinki, Centre of International Mobility in Finland (CIMO), Vaisala and Youth For Understanding (YFU). The themes of the program were diplomacy, internationality, cultures and environmental policy. Also the learning of the English language was emphasised. The program took place in the Finnish Embassy and the American University in Washington D.C. and in Colorado, US. The program was started by the United States' Ambassador Bruce Oreck. The scholarship to attend the Young Ambassadors Program (YAP) was granted to 13 students.
