This includes long/short terms strategic planning for the sector across the region and covering the following businesses: - Frozen Food production and distribution. - Beverages & Juices production and distribution. - Snacking and Biscuits production and distribution.

Directly responsible on managing a complete E2E Beets Sugar manufacturing and supply chain value stream from sourcing the Beets and its Agriculture logistics through-out manufacturing and sugar production and packing processes. including Supply & Demand Planning, Logistics & Warehouses Management, Procurement, Project & Engineering, Product Costing and Conversion cost optimization.

Responsible of Managing 4 different manufacturing facilities between UAE & Egypt. Those facilities are producing canned beans, canned olives and mineral water. Directly responsible on managing a completely E2E supply Chain operations from Sourcing the Materials and managing Agriculture Business, to Manufacturing till delivering final products to Distributors warehouses. Directly responsible on the supply chain & manufacturing activities for those facilities starting from receiving the row and pack materials, through the production processes till delivering the finished goods. All these activities were done through developing the necessary procedures to ensure the plant operates in line with legal environmental and emission requirements and Manage Certification processes as determined by Corporate Management (Quality, Environment, and Food Safety). Measure, monitor and report plant efficiency and recommend and implement continuous process improvement measures. Assure compliance with all of company’s standards and procedures. Lead, Motivate, Coach and Build capabilities of line managers, Supervisors and technicians to convert the company objectives. Full accountability on P&L for those business units through monitoring the Industrial expenses, production costs and product quality, and implement production control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division. Oversee HS&E and Food Quality & Safety improvements and develop related projects. Optimize site loss tree and maintain high standards of housekeeping through Lean Manufacturing and AIB Standards implementation.

Leading the supply chain operations activities for Savola across Iran Business unit for both Edible oil and Sugar businesses covering the Materials & Commodities sourcing, planning, logistics, warehousing and distribution centers management. (0.75B$/Year, Around 500 KMT/Year) Through leading the process of production planning based on S&OP outputs and immediate sales orders and short/medium term forecast considering production resources (people, materials, equipment), Leading FG Inventories management through SKU’s optimization and ABCD Quarterly classification, WH Space optimization, and utilization and Lead the FG Distribution planning and Trucks loading optimization in terms of Volume, Loading Time, Manpower and Distribution cost. Responsible for driving reduction in costs by using logistics network optimization tools and strategies, including warehouse consolidation, material handling systems, transportation management system, mode shifts and Leading all logistics and warehousing activities including the design and implementation of logistics strategies impacting customer service, cost, freight and freight recovery. As well as responsibility for international trade compliance, packaging, and optimization of transportation network. Lead performance improvement programs throughout department. Play a key role in the implementation of Continuous Improvement techniques throughout the organization through analysis, benchmarking and industry competitive research including selecting, training, and developing management, technical, and administrative staff. Developing and maintaining the annual operating plan for the manufacturing sector. Drive operational efficiency of the Plant and Optimize Bottling Operations to match market needs. Develop the site CAPEX budgets. Monitoring production costs and product quality, and implement production control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division. Measure, monitor and report plant efficiency and recommend and implement continuous process improvement measures. Assure compliance with all of company’s standards and procedures. Lead, Motivate, Coach and Build capabilities of line managers, Supervisors and technicians to convert the company objectives. Analyzing the Team’s workload and determine and adjust the team members’ individual workload according to skills and capabilities and manage the daily activities. Manage the selection process and ongoing evaluation of all operations staff. Overseeing HS&E and Food Quality & Safety improvements and develop related projects. Optimize site logistics and maintain high standards of housekeeping. Developing the necessary procedures to ensure the plant operates in line with legal environmental and emission requirements and Manage Certification processes as determined by Corporate Management (Quality, Environment, Food Safety). Leading problem solving activities using different problem solving techniques. Review and analyze production and downtime reports daily. Follow-up with appropriate resources to systematically eliminate sources of downtime. Set manufacturing area performance standards including the in-process measures and continually analyze business requirements to develop the appropriate operating plan for the Factory, the Bottling Operations, Warehousing and Distribution Centers.

Managing and improving conversion costs through improvement programs and TPM activities. Ensure continuous skill and competency development of shop floor employees and team-leaders. Lead, motivate and coach a team of supervisors to achieve high performance results. Manage the site labor availability, efficiency and commitment to high performance. Driving TPM activities in the plant and ensure compliance with the JIPM standards. Ensure that MFG Processes and procedures are reviewed and updated periodically. Ensure high quality standards and agreed operational performance targets are met. Managing the manufacturing operations and lead production process improvements on a daily basis. Interact with the supply chain to ensure efficient production planning and execution. Supporting regional teams for Oral care regional plans.

Translating the business strategy into HR strategic actions and implementing plans in partnership with line managers within the factories to achieve excellent individual and team performance. Leading the implementation in line with HPC strategy of personal development systems that attract the best candidates, retain the best employees and motivate the whole organization, through building the organization capability on how to handle and overcome problems by using the creative problem solving techniques such as fish-bone, why-why analysis in order to ensure that all processes and people are aligned together in a continuous improvement process. Identifying the optimum work force to run the operating lines within the factories, through manpower planning and zero base staffing. Participating in the TPM implementation and leading the Education & Training pillar across the whole organization. Responsible on providing the both Management & Technicians with the training plans in order to develop their professional skills & competencies based on their performance development plans. Maintain HR processes/records for factory employees, i.e. mgmt. of reward/recognition, training… etc.

Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing activities of Always production lines. Managing the available resources to meet production plan in accordance with specifications with efficiency and within budget. Budget and supervisory responsibilities. Preparing daily reporting and preparation of production data and documentation. Managing immediate technical problems at the production-floor level. Coordinating with other departments for smooth pre/post production activities. Leads non-conformance and customer complaint resolution through Problem definition. Short-term correction, Root causes investigation, Long-term permanent correction Assessment of effectiveness and Documentation through using TPM techniques. Participates in complaint/failure investigations, using the loss analysis techniques to identify the department losses and eliminate these losses by using the TPM pillars and task force teams. Leading the Safety and Environment program with the paper module, and responds to HS&E audits and safety audits. Assures that new/improved processes are validated and statistically capable of meeting specifications and customer requirements and continuous improvement efforts are systematically pursued to optimize effectiveness and efficiency of all processes. Leading the CQV (Commissioning, Qualification, and Verification) for the new equipment, Managing and tracking the pre-operating budget which includes: Assessing the optimum manpower needed in order to operate this new technologies, Identifying the required skills and training needed for the technicians to operate and maintain the new technologies, Design the Daily Management Systems in order to monitor the equipment performance.
