Mechanical Engineer – GCGV Project (Exxon Mobil – SABIC Joint Venture) Polyethylene – Mono-ethylene Glycol Production Facility • Develop installation work packages for various mechanical equipment including vessels – heat exchangers – pumps – compressors – boiler – cooling towers – etc. using installation manuals, erection and operations procedure manuals, and general arrangement drawings. • Supervise and inspect equipment prior and after installation to conform installation per engineering design and specifications requirements. • Issue nonconformance reports and request for information to the vendors and engineering to resolve fabrication and design issues. • Develop equipment preservation tasks using preservation matrix, preservation manuals and applicable data sheets. • Inspect mechanical equipment and supervise preservation tasks such as equipment shaft rotations, applying lubricants and corrosion inhibitors. • Perform quantity take-off, control, tracking, reporting and forecasting for mechanical discipline, and interfacing with project controls for submittal of quantities. • Purchase required care and preservation materials using preservation matrix and applicable data sheets • Establishing mechanical design/field engineering working relationship with the Project Engineer, including agreement on mechanical engineering deliverables. • Develop equipment lifting plans using AutoCAD and 3D Lift Plan. • Participate in training programs for mechanical discipline field engineers - interns.

• Created systems testing work packages setting test pressure and boundaries on isometrics and P&IDs • Performed quantity takeoffs, submitted purchase orders of temporary/ permanent materials needed. • Tracked/ordered/requested/inspected materials used for testing and systems restoration. • Walked down subsystems after restoration to ensure installation per engineered design drawings and turned over work packages to the client after verifying proper installation.

• Analyzed request for proposals issued by the client to outline scope of work. • Scheduling & Work plan development including division of responsibilities between piping team • Coordinated with engineering to obtain engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, isometrics and 3d model. • Performed quantity takeoffs of process piping utilizing the P&ID’s/Iso and equipment layout plan. • Coordinated with procurement in preparation of RFQ’s for piping materials pricing and review. • Created man-hours and materials cost reports for process piping and related components. Presented estimate in the sponsor/ DM reviews.

• Contributed in construction of one plus billion-dollar methanol production project. • Verified piping and equipment installation as per mechanical design drawings and specifications. • Worked on solving issues regarding construct-ability and design of piping and equipment installation. • Coordinated with procurement department to specify required materials for field and assured receiving of appropriate materials upon delivery. • Participated in project commissioning and startup activities, including boiler startup, compressor surge testing, pump run test, lube oil flushing, chemical cleaning, and system aqua milling/ blow downs. • Monitored Subcontractors progress to meet construction schedules. • Worked with pre-commissioning and client to clear punch items and handing over test packages.
