NEP Quality Manager: I worked in National Employment Project - the biggest Bahraini project in employment and vocational training. My role was to develop and implement quality management system as well as to conduct audit to the consortium that involved in the project.

PhD proposal - executive Summary The Background section shows a lack of existing Business Excellence (BE) within Middle East and very few studies and information within the research community. Hence the research gap is that knowledge about the BE Strategy for ME is lacking. The overall aim is to develop a model of a BE Strategy for ME with a focus on EFQM in Education. There are three specific objectives: 1. to develop (or modify) the relevant BES to Education sector in ME; 2. to ascertain the factors affecting the implement of BES; 3. to review and refine the BES based on the knowledge and practical experience gained from its implementation in an ME. This proposal concludes that, not only countries are at early stage of learning, and that BE is under continuous review and improvement. Many Countries have not experienced BE yet, in particular ME. Moreover, relatively little is known about the practice of BE within Education Sector in ME Countries.

The design, operation and management of manufacturing within a total quality system require engineers with multi-disciplinary skills and the ability to integrate design and manufacture with market need for profit.

The main aim of this programme was to acquire a professional theoretical and practical understanding of the core areas of business management and to improve my management understanding and skills.
