I sat with the Capital Markets team for the month, where I was one of 3 interns and the only one who did not study Indian law. My responsibilities included: - Attending client calls and assisting associates by presenting relevant documents and information in real-time - Supporting due diligence by reviewing offer documents to conduct precedent checks and assist in formulating disclosure positions in response to opposing counsel, quickly adapting to navigate Indian regulatory websites such as the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) - Mapping Management Information System (MIS) data to Virtual Data Room (VDR) folders to maintain structured and accessible records - Drafting requisition lists and tracking client submissions to help streamline the documentation process

Green Impact is a UCL-wide environmental competition and accreditation scheme that allows departments and divisions across the university to improve their environmental impact, support UCL's Sustainability Strategy and engage peers and colleagues with these essential issues. As part of the Laws Green Impact Student Committee, I led on meeting agendas and minute-taking, and helped deliver initiatives such as the 28 Days of Sustainability challenge and the Christmas Switch Off. Our work was recognised with the Silver Award for 2024–25.
