Maggie Mathis, CFM

I am passionate about floodplain management and have built my career supporting the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and state and local floodplain management programs. I have served as one of Dewberry’s key project managers on multiple FEMA flood mapping, floodplain management, and mitigation-related contracts over a career spanning 30 years. My experience includes flood map production, NFIP regulatory processing, community outreach, and risk communication. I also provide assistance to NFIP communities in the development of Community Rating System (CRS) applications and activities and served as the project manager and author of the NFIP Evaluation Report that addressed compliance with NFIP building requirements.
