WALMART - DIGITAL BUY PLAN PLATFORM At Walmart, I am contributing as a Front-End Engineer to the Digital Buy Plan platform, a large-scale enterprise initiative aimed at digitizing and modernizing merchandising buy planning workflows across the organization. The platform is built as a Single Page Application (SPA) using a micro-frontend–based MSE (Micro Service Experience) architecture, enabling modular development, independent deployments, and seamless integration with multiple backend systems. The front-end layer plays a critical role in supporting complex business workflows, high-volume data interactions, and enterprise-grade performance requirements for internal users. My responsibilities include designing and developing scalable, reusable UI components, delivering front-end MSEs aligned with architectural standards, and ensuring secure and efficient integration with backend services through well-defined APIs. I collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to maintain consistency, performance, and long-term maintainability across the application. The solution operates within a distributed, event-driven architecture, integrating with orchestration services and cloud-based data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Emphasis is placed on reliability, extensibility, accessibility, and adherence to enterprise UI/UX and security standards. This work has provided deep exposure to enterprise front-end system design, micro-frontend architecture, large-scale platform development, and collaborative engineering within a global organization.
