• Lead design engineering for NPD, sustaining, productivity, and cost-reduction projects across fire extinguisher product lines. • Own CAD models/drawings, engineering BOMs, FMEAs/DFMEAs, DVPs, design guides, lab test requests, validation reports, and product documentation updates. • Drive reliability, compliance, and issue-resolution through validation testing, durability reviews, agency/regulatory support, defect investigations, and corrective actions. • Standardized engineering drawing approaches and templates to improve documentation consistency, review efficiency, and cross functional usability.

• Served as the primary NPD subject matter expert in a startup-style development environment, helping build product development and manufacturing processes from the ground up. • Played a key role in transitioning US Metal Crafters from a contract manufacturing model toward end-to-end product development, engineering ownership, and vertically integrated production. • Established foundational engineering systems including part numbering, drawing standards, documentation workflows, and manufacturing handoff processes to support scalable new product launches. • Led early-stage product development efforts from concept through prototyping, supplier sourcing, manufacturability reviews, and production readiness. • Utilized rapid prototyping and hands-on design iteration to validate concepts, resolve manufacturing challenges, and accelerate development of a new product catalogue.

• Managed key phases of new product design projects including research, planning, DFM, BOM development, design verification, testing, and product optimization. • Utilized rapid prototyping methods including FDM, SLA, SLS, and 3D printing through both in-house and off site manufacturing resources. • Led sustaining engineering projects to improve manufacturability, increase production yields, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience, contributing to more than $1M in company savings. • Acted as liaison between product managers, manufacturers, and internal teams to improve communication, resolve production roadblocks, and support successful product transitions.

• Managed outside plant engineering design projects supporting telecommunications infrastructure, including planning, permitting, drafting coordination, and construction-ready design packages. • Coordinated multiple concurrent engineering work orders from initial planning through design completion, aligning engineering, construction, field teams, contractors, and local jurisdictions. • Reviewed route plans, utility conflicts, constructibility requirements, and project scope to ensure OSP designs met AT&T standards and supported efficient network deployment.
