LOVE MORE! CREATE MORE! As a junior at Northeastern University in Boston, I have not only enriched myself in my studies of Communication and Media, but I have thoroughly engaged in extracurricular activities, a work study opportunity, the experiences Boston provides, as well as an Internship program to help me gain professional work habits, an ability to produce content in a timely manner following a schedule, and strengthen my personable skills as I grow and meet new friendly faces helping me along this journey of following my passion! At Sacred Heart, where I spent my first two years of my undergraduate degree, I began creating for our D1 athletic programs, namely Men's and Women's Ice Hockey, the summer before arriving to campus to start my freshman year, and I have expanded this creative outlet into graphic design, in-game graphics and social media, and in game sports photography for all of our Division 1 athletics. This experience allows me to stay sharp on my skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom, Gipper, WePlayed, Twitter, Instagram, and Microsoft Office. To gain further industry experience and broaden my horizons, I also spent my first Fall semester as an intern for Sports Girls Club, as a content creator, where I focused mainly on NHL and MLB. I strengthened my skills in creating on a schedule and producing content to fit brand quality standards within a certain deadline, and also learned new habits that helped me grow both as a person and professionally as a woman in sports! Come spring of my Sophomore year, I joined Major League Baseball as a Live Content Creator, where I produce live content onsite with engaging photo and video content shared using Greenfly and Slack, edited, labeled, and produced utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite. While fulfilling requests and needs for both the home and visiting clubs, I have been able to raise a personal bar for myself and work at a faster pace and create at the highest possible level, tapping into creativity I had never seen from myself before working alongside and learning from such brilliant creatives. In addition, extracurricularly I participate in the Pioneer Scholars, Delta Alpha Pi Honor Society, To Write Love On Her Arms, SHU StandUp, Sports Media Club, and am a freelance sports photographer with The Undrafted US.
