• Developing a high-fidelity genome editing & QC pipeline in iPSCs. • Developing an iPSC-based Alzheimer’s disease model to investigate organelle remodeling. • Integrated NGS (long amplicon and short amplicon), ddPCR, FACS & imaging-based QC methods. • Differentiated iPSCs into neurons & microglia to study protein localization. • Collaborated with bioengineering team on automation of FACS sorting and NGS library pooling.

1. Developed a GMP grade protocol for CRISPR/Cas9 mediated stem cell therapy for Epidermolysis Bullosa. 2. Perform correction of germline mutation in primary patient fibroblasts and reprogram the edited fibroblast cells into iPSCs. 3. Performed Quality Control studies using ddPCR and off-target analysis studies. 4. Worked on designing plasmid constructs and performed gene expression studies. 5. Cultured Schizophrenia patient iPSCs cell lines and differentiate them into induced neurons for characterization studies. 6. Supervised routine lab inventory and maintenance. 7. Designated Lab safety personnel to ensure lab compliance to EHS standards and guidelines.
