I drive Sky News' multi-platform political coverage across TV, podcasts, online and social media. I am responsible for all editorial decisions, and breaking news accurately and ahead of the competition. I develop original content with correspondents and strategically identify stories we want to cover. I pitch our stories in meetings, working with teams across Sky News to ensure the best coverage possible. I manage relations with external political stakeholders and our high profile political reporting team. I plan coverage of big political events.

I break politics stories across Sky’s multi-platform output, and plan our coverage for big events. I also work with Sky News correspondents to help plan, develop and produce TV packages, online stories, social media content and podcasts. I strategically identify and recognise upcoming key political stories and deliver a coverage plan.

I produced Sky News' economics coverage with Economics and Data Editor Ed Conway, with stories ranging from the Covid-19 pandemic to elections, from Brexit to the Cost of Living crisis. I delivered news-making and breaking content across Sky's multi-platform output: for podcasts, social media as well as for TV and online. On a day to day basis, I pitched, planned and produced stories with distinctive, creative visuals and original treatments: from securing access, carrying out interviews, and overseeing filming, to directing the edit process and devising bespoke content for Sky's online and social platforms. I produced our election results coverage for the 2019 General Election, and for the US elections in 2020: building data screens to bring the results, and the demographics behind them, to life.

Reporting on home news for Sky News across Sky News' platforms: from the Homes for Ukraine scheme to the twists and turns of 'Partygate'; from small boats crossing in Dover to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. I had to break-lines on TV; reacting quickly to developing stories often with many legal restrictions. Accuracy and an eye for detail were paramount.

I collated and transcribed articles from The Telegraph’s archives for The Telegraph’s WW1 Centenary commemorative book.

I assisted on shoots, liaised with PRs and fashion houses, requested and returned samples, and co-ordinated the fashion desk’s diary for London Fashion Week. I was responsible for uploading online content for the desk and building the web pages I contributed my own pieces online and to the magazine. I was trained with Adobe Photoshop and Escenic CMS, and am now proficient with these systems.
