Manage user experience, community relations and correspondence for Ovee, a women’s sexual and reproductive health platform. Review article pitches from contributing writers, edit and finalize article drafts to publish online. Initiate and maintain brand partnerships. Produce and manage digital content on a daily basis for website and social media. Maintain branding and visual identity and continue to innovate visual aesthetics.

Provide creative direction to the content and knowledge on SEAD’s issues and priorities for digital campaigns. Lead and manage overall internal and external communications including newsletters, social media, blog, and digital engagement and outreach to amplify SEAD’s programs and projects. Engage, educate, and mobilize online communities on issues and priorities that impact Southeast Asian diaspora communities through visual and literary storytelling.

Design interfaces for web and applications for optimum accessibility, usability and flow for clients. Conduct user interviews and testing. Collaborate with developers and business analysts to produce an optimal experience for users. Draft and code wireframes.

Teach web coding basics such as HTML5, CSS and Javascript to incoming MFA Design + Technology students.

Taught strategic communication students basic design skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Mentor students in creating semester-long ad campaigns in the core strategic communications class, Strategic Writing and Design I.

Formulate a branding campaign for the Student Development, Diversity & Inclusion Program to attract high school students of color to the journalism school and also attract industry partners to back the program.

Design book covers for TMR Books, an imprint/small publisher and an offshoot of the literary magazine, The Missouri Review.

Part of a health communications team that designs and writes materials on behalf of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Materials to be distributed to lawmakers and the general public this upcoming legislative session. Design a folder which contains infographics on special healthcare needs, maternal care and child care. Position extended after the completion of the project to a consulting position to continue produce content for them.
