• Material Takeoffs – responsible for the electrical takeoffs for the estimate, including ductbank, cable tray, grounding, temporary power, lighting, communication, fiber, instrumentation, DC/UPS, one-lines, load list, equipment, security, heat trace, lightning protection and devices. • Comparables – responsible for setting up the comparables for the estimate with the Lead Electrical’s guidance. • Subcontracts and Permanent Materials – responsible for developing the Subcontract and PM quotes required for the estimate and coordinating with Procurement. • Quantity Comparison – responsible for coordinating with the second estimate team for quantity comparison and assisting the Lead Electrical for the quantity comparison meeting. • Project Support – provide technical assistance to other disciplines concerning electrical issues. • Scope – ensure design satisfies RFP obligations and discuss with Lead Electrical any value engineering concepts. Coordinate any value engineering concepts into the proposal clarifications, as applicable. Verify that all termination points with Owner supplied utilities are properly defined and coordinated by completing the utility interface schedule and project site plan (SP) drawing(s). • EPC Proposal Documentation – assist Lead Electrical in preparing information/documentation for EPC bids including red-lines of the RFP documents, clarifications and/or exceptions, and any other documentation/information to support the proposal documentation.
