Electronic Engineer
Responsibilities: - Locate faults of the production line machinery and systems - Diagnose and repair electrical and control system breakdowns - Upgrade the control programs of the production machinery in order to increase efficiency and minimize line downtime - Ensure high product quality through monitoring, adjusting and maintaining of visual inspection systems and other testing equipment - Adjust production equipment - Perform measurements of process parameters - Maintain and repair production equipment, organizing servicing/overhauling works - Participate in preventive maintenance programs - Co-operate with production departments and other maintenance sections - Request the purchase of necessary parts - Report the progress of performed tasks - Perform other such duties of a similar nature as from time to time may be required including any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.

Responsibilities: - Designing and programming electronic devices for non-destructive testing using Eddy-current method (ET) and ultrasound (UT, EMAT); - Initiate, establish, and execute strategic technology research and development projects; - Scouting on new technologies, devise and execute research projects; - Design, development and prototyping of applications with LabView; - Integrate components, deploy and monitor the prototypes; - Contribute to architecture design and pro-actively influence future functionality of the solution; - Research, design and implement algorithms - mainly in the field of non-destructive testing using Matlab; - Developing firmware for industrial embedded devices in C, C++ (mainly ARM microcontrollers STM32L1, STM32F1, STM32F3, STM32F4); - Implementing acquisition systems in FPGA (DDRAM, SDRAM, ADC, DAC); - Preparation of software documentation. - Active participation in new ideas and projects creation; - Document project results, preparations of reports, publications, etc.; Additional responsibilities: - Designing and integration of control and data acquisition systems (PLC Siemens S7-1200, AC/DC motors); - Developing Motion Control application with VFD drives, stepper motors and servo motors; - Integrating devices using industrial protocols; Additional roles: - R&D Team Leader; - NDT Lab supervisor. Projects: - Portable Inspection Device for Rock Bolt checking. (Embedded sofrware for ARM and FPGA, R&D tests and algoritm design); - High Voltage Amplifier for MFC actuators (NASA technology). (Embedded Software for STM32 and LabView Application); - Battery powered module with Bluetooth for vibration mesaurements. (Embedded Software for STM32L1 and LabView Application); - Control System for Vertical Axis Wind Turbines. (Control system with PLC and drives, LabView application for remote data aquisition). - NDT Inspection Robot. (Design of LabView application and Microcontroller device) - Analog inputs module for piezoelectric sensors used to build aquisiton system for condition monitoring of wind turbine blades. (PCB board with an analog conditioning circuit) - Universal ultrasonic tansmiter and receiver (30-100kHz) cards with USB connection. Fully controlled from LabView Application. (Microcontroller program and LabView library) - Matlab Aquisition Application for ultrasonic transmiter and receiver devices. (Matlab m-files with GUI). - Automated 3-axis scanner for ultrasonic testing. (Motion system and LabView application for movement control and data aquisition).
