Provide technical support and assistance in Development and implementation of various activities and process of work. Provide specialized project management support to Specific and defined programmes to ensure various activities are performed within targets following WFP's policies and procedures. Prepared a range of reports and data analysis (e.g. food Assistance needs, resources utilization, programme status, performance) and highlight trends/issues ensuring deliverables adhere to corporate standards and quality control. Ensure and perform accurate, timely recording of data within the specific technical area of work (Food assistance, food security and Vulnerability assessments programme) and consistency of information presented to stakeholders. Liase with internal counterparts to support effective collaboration, implementation and monitoring of ongoing programme activities. Coordinate and communicate with local partners, agencies, NGOs and Government institutions to perform accurate food security analyses and ensure effective delivery of food assistance. Support the capacity building of WFP staff, cooperating partners and national government within technical area. Act as point of contact for resolution of a range of operational queries and problems within a specific technical area. Review and oversee the work of other support staff, providing practical advice and guidance, to contribute to delivering objectives to agreed standards and deadlines. Follow standard emergency preparedness practices to ensure WFP is able to quickly respond and deploy needed resources to affected areas at the onset of crisis.

 Manage/contribute to the planning and implementation of the Work plan for the resilience section and more specifically, for FFA.  Support the identification, development and management of partnership synergies with UN agencies, donors and cooperating partners, leading to improve food assistance programme.  Actively lead and provide capacity enhancement and training for more junior WFP staff, cooperating partners, government and other partners to enhance the quality of asset creation and the overall FFA programme.  Provide supervision and monitoring for programme implementation through, but not limited to, field visits and meetings with field-level staff, cooperating partners and relevant government authorities.  Contribute to programme planning, design and implementation through technical review of partnership proposals, programme guidelines and standard operating procedures.  Contribute to reporting and documentation of best practices, lessons learned and achievements challenges for a variety of audiences including donors, government offices and other stakeholders.  Support the monitoring and tracking of the project food pipeline to ensure timely food distribution assistance.  Participate in working groups and/or meetings as required.  Perform other duties as required. Expected results Under the guideline of the supervisor and as a collaborative team member, the staff member will produce well-prepared analytical work and manage tasks that require a significant amount of depth analysis ultimately translates into improved food assistance for the targeted population

1. Contribute towards the development of a limited number of projects, plans and processes, ensuring alignment with wider programme policies and guidance. 2. Provide project management support to specific and defined programmes and projects of small to moderate size that are relatively straight forward in nature, ensuring a coordinated approach with wider programmes that complies with WFP standards and procedures. 3. Follow data gathering and monitoring systems ensuring that rigorous quality standards are maintained. 4. Research and analyse policy and operational issues to support senior colleagues in the development of policies, programmes and activities. 5. Contribute to the preparation of accurate and timely reporting on programmes and activities that enable informed decision making and consistency of information presented to stakeholders. 6. Liaise with internal counterparts to ensure effective collaboration, monitor ongoing projects. 7. Support the identification, development and management of potential partnerships to collaborative working leading to improved food assistance packages. 8. Support the capacity building of WFP staff, partners and national government to prepare for and respond to food assistance needs, e.g. through project management support of learning initiatives. 9. Provide guidance to support staff, acting as a point of referral and assisting them with analysis and queries. 10. Other as required.

• Maintain regularly, weekly communication and collaboration with co-facilitators, • Provide 2-3 general forum announcements to let participants know important updates and tips; • Facilitate group activities and forum discussions including the weaving of discussions on the conclusion of activities; • Monitor all discussion forums and add inputs and advice where needed, while also encouraging participant-to-participant learning; • Identify, communicate and support team leaders; • Provide ongoing participants support; provide constructive and detailed feedback on individual and groups work to enhance learning experience/outcomes including feedback to learning journal and major task assessment; • Co-facilitate synchronous learning events via zoom; • Grading of assessment and provide feedback to participants; • Monitoring and evaluation (Contribute to the ongoing course and monitoring activities and contribute to the end of course evaluation); • Professional development (undertake PD opportunities to add value to facilitator role including learning Moodle Basic and ongoing coaching with technical Academy team on online facilitation skills.

Main Duties • Facilitates in preparation and delivery of community Animal Health Worker courses and Animal Health Assistant courses in close collaboration with the State Ministry for Livestock and Fisheries industry • Vaccination campaigns: Identification of needs and geographical areas in collaboration with Sub-Delegations / Juba mission and implementation of the campaign in the field with the help of the EcoSec delegates (Livestock and agro). • Advice and support EcoSec Team with the implementation of livestock based small-scale livelihood support Initiatives (such as restocking, cheese-production, and fodder production.) • Design and contribute to the implementation of relevant emergency interventions. • Training and coaching of the EcoSec team on the livestock approach and related activities • Investigates the real capabilities of the private and Governmental veterinary sectors • Ensure appropriate internal technical reporting. • Attend relevant external coordination meetings as advised by Ecosec Delegates (Livestock & Agro) • In close collaboration with field EcoSec delegate, coordinate and implement livestock program with relevant local authorities and actors. • Performs various data processing on computer independently mainly FSS (Field Supply Systems)/ logistical documentation) • Participates in establishment and implementation of procedures • Ensures follow-up and updates files & databases • Maintains a close link with the EcoSec delegates in the field team for questions related to procedures and distribution figures • Processes paper work for staff movement such as Field Trip Form • Maintains a clear record/ trail of financial advances issued to the field officers updating reporting line manager . • Ensures that all FTRs (Field Trip Reports) are submitted to the Ecosec Delegate(s) in a timely fashion • Performs various office works, such as filing, update of lists (staff movements & training).

Major Responsibilies • Undertake the conceptualization, innovation planning and management of programs /projects as well as the transfer of knowledge and skills. • Develop quarterly work (action) plans for the agronomy and livestock sector, ensuring objectives and targets are achieved. • Guide and supervise government staff identifying training needs and providing on the job training. • Provide backstopping support to all farmer trainings related to agriculture and other livestock activities. • Identify problems or alternative causes of action to accelerate/ improve project delivery. • Coordinate with operations logistics staff on supplies to the field for Food Security and Livelihoods related activities. • Write project reports as required by management, donors and partners etc. • Coordinate meeting with Government in State or County and attend strategy plan for food security. • Prepare weekly plan and monthly plan. • Participate in the design, and assessment of crop and livestock component of the project activities. • Develop appropriate and culturally acceptable methodologies for the diagnosis of farmer’s problems/ opportunities • Develop an annual plan of the activities for participatory technology development as guided by the project design and approval activities. • Coordinate WV Agriculture field activities with others partner, NGOs, local community and relevant government department in line with State Government strategies plan. • Ensure WV participation in inter-agency livelihood coordination meeting and represent WV in state agriculture coordination meetings • Distribution of Agriculture input & fishery input and restocking of Shoats to community. • Ensure that the agronomic and livestock related activities are fully implemented within the limit of approved budget for activities.
