I managed the preparation of environmental permitting documents, including Technical Approval (PERTEK) and Environmental Feasibility (SLO), in accordance with national regulations. My work involved collecting and analyzing client data on wastewater characteristics, treatment processes, and discharge systems. I coordinated with government agencies at various levels to ensure regulatory compliance, participated in technical meetings and permit hearings, and prepared technical reports and supporting documentation required for wastewater discharge approvals. I contributed to research on modified Biopal septic tanks and supported the design of domestic wastewater treatment systems for households. I evaluated the treatment performance of Biopal technology and provided product explanations to customers regarding its operational benefits. The research conducted during this internship also became the foundation of my undergraduate thesis titled “Kajian Kualitas Efluen Pengolahan Air Limbah Biopal”, which analyzed the effluent quality and performance effectiveness of the Biopal treatment system.

I assisted the operations team in researching pollutant loads and monitoring wastewater treatment performance. I conducted laboratory analyses to assess compliance with wastewater quality standards and supported the development of SOPs for the MBBR wastewater treatment system. I also prepared a design memo for the MBBR plant and completed my internship by writing a technical field-practice report titled “Sistem Pengolahan Air Limbah MBBR Setiabudi”, which documented system performance, operational findings, and improvement recommendations.
