Lynnette Navarro Sullivan

As a former student parent and first generation Mexican American college graduate , my passion is to empower other students pursue a higher education. My professional experience as a dually licensed marriage and family therapist and professional clinical counselor has allowed the opportunity to identify and eliminate behavioral health barriers interfering with academic success. I have a strong commitment to promoting inclusion, equal access for behavioral health, and wellness for marginalized groups. My current work is focused on closing the health gap on community college campuses by increasing behavioral health access and decreasing negative social determinants of education and health. To promote mental health and suicide prevention in the community, I co-lead the Riverside County Suicide Prevention Coalition- Higher Education committee to eliminate suicide among students, staff, and faculty
