Promoted to a brand new department and role at Roots. Currently building a team to create and catalog all our materials and trims for apparel. Sustainability a key part of our current and future developments. Looking to our "Roots" to build new for the future.

Promoted to head up Product Development here at Roots to utilize my 26+ years of development and fabric development. Working closely with our Senior Directors and Designers to help to create great fabrics and improvements to our apparel assortment for Women, Men, KTB and Accessories. I have a great team to support me in this new role.

Promoted to Category Management to oversee all accessories for Roots Canada including Adult, kids, toddler and baby accessories.

Progressively more responsibilities over my 23 year career from fabric sourcing through to Senior Designer Accessories overseeing Accessories for Roots company and Roots 73 for Adult, Kids, Toddler and Baby accessories. Supervise Designer accessories as part of the Accessories team. Product includes Hats, Scarves, Gloves, Socks, Nylon Bags and backpacks, Loungewear and pajamas, General store soft accessories and anything that the Co-founders would request really! Responsible for all the design from the 1998,2000, 2002, 2004 Canadian Olympic Team accessories and USA Olympic Team Accessories 2002 and 2004. Creator of the USA Beret. Approval for licensee collections for Roots licensed backpacks and casual bags. International Travel including Europe, Japan, China, India, Peru and the United States. Domestic travel to key Canadian cities.

Technical Design and QA, including travel to Korea and HK for QA, and some product development.
